HoodRich launches on Robinhood Chain on October 2. Its docs describe it as a game, not an investment, and state that every payout is another player's money. With that settled, the numbers are still worth laying out, because the whole game is arithmetic.
What a first flip pays, by class
| Class | You pay | Next buyer pays | You receive | Result |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Legend | 100,000 | 130,000 | 115,000 | +15,000 |
| Giant | 50,000 | 65,000 | 57,500 | +7,500 |
| Corporation | 20,000 | 26,000 | 23,000 | +3,000 |
| Company | 10,000 | 13,000 | 11,500 | +1,500 |
The result is 15% of the price you paid in every class, if the buyer arrives within 24 hours.
What waiting costs
After 24 hours the listed price falls 10% a day. The seller receives about 88.5% of whatever the buyer actually pays. For a tower bought at 100 and listed at 130:
| Buyer arrives | Buyer pays | You receive | Result |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Within the first day | 130 | 115 | +15 |
| After 2 days | 117 | 103.5 | +3.5 |
| After 3 days | 104 | 92 | −8 |
Break-even sits between the second and the third day. After that, each day of waiting is a larger loss.
How far a price can fall
The floor is the tower's starting price. For the first owner of a Company, the listed price can fall from 13,000 to 10,000 at worst. For someone who bought the same tower five flips later at 37,129, the floor is still 10,000. The higher the step, the further there is to fall.
What holding pays
Owners share 9 of every 130 paid in any flip. In a fully owned city the total weight is 125. One Legend flip at 130,000 sends 9,000 to owners:
| Your tower | Weight | Share | From that one flip |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Legend | 10 | 8% | 720 |
| Giant | 5 | 4% | 360 |
| Corporation | 2 | 1.6% | 144 |
| Company | 1 | 0.8% | 72 |
Weight is proportional to price, so the rate per coin is the same in every class. Owner income offsets part of a decay loss, not all of it.
The Vault variable
Each flip sends 5 of every 130 to the Vault. First purchases add 48.1% of their price. When the 24-hour timer ends, the last buyer takes 50% and owners share 20%.
What the numbers say
- The profit case depends on one thing: another buyer within 24 hours.
- The loss case is buying a high step and waiting.
- There is no income from outside the game. The contract has no owner, and the team holds no treasury.
Nothing here is financial advice. Only play with what you can afford to lose.
